LOOKING WITH COMPASSION AT ALL THAT IS WITHIN US

One of the things that I am continually discovering is who I am.  You might think that I am old enough so that I ought to know that already.  But another of the things that I am continually discovering is that I am continually changing.  Sometimes that is a matter of conscious choice.  Sometimes it just seems to happen.  The boundaries are porous between myself and the world because of the interdependence that pervades us all.  So when we take time to look now and then, there is a person we did not know.  This page from a recent erasure book of mine captures that feeling, I think.  (The Title and "Reface" pages from the book are also included.)
